In 2017, I envisioned a song that has now come to life as part of my ongoing worship project. The song, titled "No Turning Back," is the second release from this project and carries a heartfelt message intended to resonate with the church community and beyond.

Inspired by the traditional worship song "I Have Decided," "No Turning Back" is a straightforward composition designed to encourage and support individuals in their commitment to Christ. It is my sincere hope that this song will touch many hearts and provide spiritual encouragement.

This song has been an anthem for so many people over the years ,and sung and loved around the world in different places and occasions.
As a worship team, we would travel time and again to local churches and would end up singing worship songs only in English (which is not a bad thing), and that was when the need for worship songs in our own dialect became more prominent. This need propelled Late Pastor Meren Jamir to step up and translate several songs in Ao dialect, with the vision that it will be a blessing to sing in our own dialect ; after this, we have sung it in many places.
He was very passionate about translating English songs into Ao and would encourage us to sing them often.
This particular song, “GOODNESS OF GOD” by Bethel Music has also been translated to Ao by him, and we love the way he has used the words and phrases.
As we release this song, we dedicate this song to you, Lt Pastor C. Temjenmeren Jamir, for all the effort and the passion you have poured in to this song.

20-04-2025: ⁣In a press briefing held today, Neelam Pope, one of the founding organizers of the Lower Subansiri and Keyi Panyor Idol, raised serious concerns over the unauthorized launch of a new event titled Lower Subansiri Idol. Pope stated that this new event is being organized without informing or seeking consent from the original organizing team, despite the fact that Season 2 of the original Idol concluded less than a year ago and was built as a joint cultural initiative between Lower Subansiri and Keyi Panyor.

Pope highlighted that the sudden use of a similar event name and concept not only disrespects the collaborative spirit of the original platform but also causes confusion among participants and the public. He stated, “We were shocked to learn about this through social media announcements. There was no communication, no consent, and no respect shown toward the team that built this from scratch.”

To address the issue formally, Pope informed that he has already contacted the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and has filed an FIR at the Ziro Police Station against the new organizers for misrepresentation and unauthorized use of the event name and concept.

(My first Nagamese song)

Mistry or Mistri in Hindi as well as Nagamese is a term for a master-craftsman, supervisor of manual workers in India, mason or a construction worker & 'Gaana' means song. So Mistry Gaana means "The construction worker's song."

The Govt. Nagaland declared 2017 as the Year of construction workers (YOCW) in collaboration with YouthNet and Zynorique to encourage Naga youths to make career in the field of Construction.

In the recent year while doing project on my music school I spend almost a year assisting and working with the mason, the carpenters, the painters ,the plumbers etc. The amount you pay the bill to the workers every weekends was huge. What I realized was that there's lots of money in this field and one can make a good career option out of it. The workers were mostly non-locals and they work so hard what I don’t understand was that our own locals are hardly venturing in this field. In Naga society every parents wants their children to get hold of govt. job and collared jobs and most of the youths only aim for that as a result, there's excess unemployment problem in our state.

So I came up with this song dedicated to the few handful local craftsman (mistry) and also to encourage young people in our state to opt for such job which some of you may consider odd but remember no job in the world is small or big, it's all about dignity of labour. Everyone need each other for the system to work. The rich man needs a mason to build his house, where as the mason needs the rich man to run his kitchen.
